Paths to equality: civil society for women's rights

Beneficiaries:

• 150 members ( women, men, girls and boys) of CSOs, CBOs and youth organizations will be involved in the training on gender issues, GBV, advocacy and campaigning and social media
• 100 members (women, men, girls and boys) of CSOs, CBOs and youth organizations will be involved in the 2 workshops
• 25 members (women, men, girls and boys) of CSOs, CBOs will be involved in the creation of the campaign

Main activities :

• A 1.1 Design and conduct 1 trainings for CSOs, CBOs and youth organization on gender issues, GBV,advocacy and campaigning.
• A1.2 Organize a need assessment on capacity-building for effective campaigning on women's rights and gender equality.
• A 2.1 Organize 2 workshops for members of targeted CSO and CBOs .
• A:2.2 Design and creation of visual and media campaign and tools to promote positive messages and raise awareness on women's rights and GBV.

Expected results:

• R1. Improved environment and conditions that enables CBOs from the remote and rural areas to be more involved in policy issues as well as political, social, cultural, and economic rights of citizens in the municipal and governorate level, particularly on topics related to gender equality;
• R2.Enhanced access to information and knowledge of CSOs on gender equality.
• R3. Strengthened technical and advocacy capacities of women initiatives and NGOs focused on the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.
